Michael Doyle,"Early in 2001, we in DSV Logistics, undertook an exciting new warehousing project in Naas for a very large customer. In taking this new project on, we knew that we would have to depend heavily on certain carefully chosen key suppliers to work closely with us in achieving quality results within tight deadlines. Coupled with the usual key considerations of quality of product, quality of service, and price, our warehousing project was also hinged on the pace of delivery and installation, and on the tight sequencing of the various stages of our building work. It was essential that any decisions we made re suppliers were right first time.
A vital component in the success of our project was for us to have a considerable amount of Racking and Mezzanine Floors installed and operating successfully within a very short lead time. At pace, we went through a tender process which included all of the major players in this field, and for various good reasons we chose G-Mack Racking. Their pricing was competitive, their product was familiar to us in some of our other warehouses and had proven itself well under tough working circumstances, their knowledge and advice regarding our warehousing requirements was superior, and on checking their references all previous clients spoke very highly of their work. From the Managing Director, to the very capable office team, and right through to every member of their installation crews, we have always found the G-Mack Racking team to be highly professional and helpful in every way.
With a lot of hard work, and good suppliers, we successfully completed and turned on phase one of our project within the deadline. In the fourteen months since then we have increased the size of our Naas operation to 200k sq ft. We continue to use G-Mack Racking who have remained consistent in producing what we need, when we need it, and at the right level of price and service.
